Asaphiscus wheeleri
Description:

Asaphiscus wheeleri is the second most common trilobite in the Wheeler Shale but unlike Elrathia Kingi, it can also be found in the Marjum and Pierson Cove Formations. At the Antelope Springs collection sites Elrathia greatly outnumbers Asaphiscus but Asaphiscus extends further through geologic time. This Asaphiscus is so well preserved that it almost appears pre-fossilized.
