Macginitiea sp
Description:

Macginitiea sp. is an extinct relative of the sycamore trees, still with us today. This specimen is from the Green River Formation of western Colorado. The Green River Formation is the result of deposition in several large lakes which existed in Utah, Wyoming and Colorado during Eocene times. Some of that formation extends into Millard County.
