Notch Peak
Description:
Notch Peak is a well known Millard County landmark, being visible from most of the western part of the County. The vertical drop is 3,000 sheer feet, the second tallest cliff in North America. Two trails led to the top, giving spectacular views for many miles in all directions. Its elevation is 9,725 feet; the valley floor is about 5,000 feet. It gave its name to the geologic Notch Peak Formation which forms the Upper Cambrian in the southern House Range.
